Is an open-aired permanently covered market located in the picturesque Municipality of the Township of Potton in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
The market features vendors who are primarily small-scale food producers whose wares include fresh produce, flowers, homemade jams, pies and other baked goods, packaged cheeses and meats, freshly roasted coffee, local honey and maple syrup. Several local artisans also offer handcrafted woodenware, soaps, candles, apparel, other textiles, and more.
In addition, the market often offers live music performed by local and regional musicians, facilitates book launches, and offers sustainability-themed workshops. The location also features a bocce court, playground, splash pad/water park, and picnic tables.
Our vision is to create a resilient local food network in Potton that values people and the land.
Our mission is to create vibrant, welcoming events that build community, share good food, and support small farms, growers, and other local businesses.

Although there are nearly 40 public markets in the Eastern Township region who provide their own unique offering, the Potton Covered Market offers some unique characteristics :
The sheer beauty of its surroundings. The market is situated in the open, bucolic countryside on the flanks of the Missisquoi river. It is as peaceful as it is beautiful.
It is located in the center of the André Gagnon municipal park which provides a children park area, water park, picnic tables and access to the Missisquoi North river promenade.
It is the only local market that takes place under a large, permanent, open-aired canopy. Rain or shine, the market offers a large open space to enjoy every Saturday.
The Township of Potton is a bilingual municipality. French and English are used interchangeably at the market for the benefit and ease of both tourists and residents alike. Unlike some other local markets, all visitors can feel comfortable and welcomed in the language of their choice.
The market also offers culinary demonstrations, gourmet tastings, and “prêts-à-manger” options.
